Integration Types

The Cyara Integration Hub is a new component of the Cyara Platform designed to deliver a scalable approach to integrating the Cyara Platform to a range of 3rd party systems.

There are three core Integration Types, Incidents, Log Aggregators and Accelerators, see below for more information on how these Integration Types differ and which one you should use to build an integration to a 3rd party system.

Incidents

The Incident type is used when building an integration to a Incidence Management platform such as Jira or ServiceNow. These systems are used to track and monitor Test Case failures for further investigation.

Below is an example document for recording in Jira:

Field Value
project OTRTA
summary Failure for $TestCaseName
description The Test $TestCaseName has completed with the status $Result. See the full details at $Url
labels Cyara

Log Aggregators

The Log Aggregator type is used when integrating Cyara with an aggregator platform for system logging such as Splunk. This will record configured logging methods from Cyara within your 3rd party log aggregator platform.

Below is an example document for recording in Splunk:

Field Value
text Test case '$TestCaseName' completed with '$Result'. View the full results at $Url
status $Result
detail $FullTestResult

Accelerators

Accelerators are a powerful integration type that offers increased connectivity between Cyara and your 3rd party platform. This can involve pushing CX Models from Cyara into a 3rd party cloud based call centre solution such as Genesys PureCloud, then recreating the CX Model as a call flow.
